“Quando sono arrivata in Abruzzo nel dicembre del 2019 per sostenere il lancio di un programma di artisti in residenza, mi sono goduta le passeggiate nel borgo storico, vuoto a parte i suoni dei costruttori intenti al restauro. Una passeggiata attraverso la porta del villaggio e una rapida escursione giù per la collina fino al fiume, guardando l'Aetrno scorrere sotto l'antico ponte. Sono cresciuta vicino a un fiume chiamato Kaweah in California, e il suono e il movimento del fiume hanno facilitato la transizione da un mondo all’altro.”

“When I arrived in Abruzzo in December 2019 to support the launch of an artists-in-residence program, I enjoyed the walks in the historic village, empty apart from the sounds of the builders intent on the restoration. A stroll through the village gate and a quick hike down the hill to the river, watching the Aetrno flow under the ancient bridge. I grew up near a river called Kaweah in California, and the sound and movement of the river made it easy to transition from one world to another. "
